Samsung have revealed the launch dates of it's new smartphone lineup. Three new handsets will be added to Samsung's S22 family this year - the Samsung Galaxy S22, the S22+ and the S22 Ultra. All three Galaxy S22 phones will be available to buy in a variety of colours share many features and specs. They're all powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is the top-end Android chip of the year.
All the major improvements over the S21 series can be found on each of these devices. Both Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ will come in the 8GB RAM+128 GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage configurations. On the other hand, the premium Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in the 8GB RAM+128GB, 12GB RAM+256GB, 12GB RAM+512GB, 12GB RAM+1TB configurations. The big new feature, Adaptive Pixel is also available on all three models. All of these phones will receive four Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates, which is the best software policy around on any Android device right now.
At their launch event, Samsung announced that the Galaxy S22 will officially launch on February 25, 2022. Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra will launch first,while the S22 and slightly larger S22+ handset will come later, on March 11.
